Ok guys, this is where I let you know that it's ok to use tarot to gain guidance, understanding or confirming what you intuition tells you. Stop letting scary bitchass dogmatic religious people tell you tarot or anything that doesn't fit their idea of Godly is demonic; I mean really who the fuck are they to tell you what's right and wrong when most of them are only doing what they were told to do. I've been intrigued by tarot and other forms of divination ever since I could remember. When I was in my 20s I wanted to learn about tarot but I was still fighting the conditioning of Christianity, eventhough my family was very spiritual and we embraced our gifts. What's really ironic is that my mom had no problem with psychics and palm readers but divination tools was seen as witchcraft, that white supremacist conditioning did a number on all of us😂😂😂. Fortunately in my early 30s I started seeing readers pop up on youtube and started watching how they did their readings; I was also learning more about Kemetic Science and the Orishas in Ifa and other afro-centric infused practices. After watching various readers do their thang for a few years, I finally decided to get my own deck. Now most people would get the traditional Rider-Waite deck as a first deck, but I Tawanda Vance don't do the typical shit😎😎😎, I got the 🥁Mythical Goddess Tarot hunny. As a Beautiful Black Goddess walking on a fellow Beautiful Goddess Mother Earth I couldn't get anything less my dears. I got the deck from a local Black & Female Owned Business✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 along with some other spiritual tools. Now because I was still living at home with my mom and she was acting weird with my younger sister and I, I had to be strategic with bringing them in the house because she was acting like the spiritual work I was doing was scary. Mind you the reason I gravitate to this stuff is because of what I learned from her and her side of the family. The issue was what I was doing looked slightly different than what she was familiar with, but I'll talk about that in another blog😏😏😏. I loved that deck and still have it today along with many other tarot and oracle decks. It looks like the deck I mentioned is only being sold used at places like Amazon and Wal-mart.
